Are you a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Marriage Family Therapist OR license-eligible to become an Associate Clinical Social Worker/ Associate Marriage and Family Therapist? Do you have experience with children and families requiring diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning and crisis intervention? Are you a bilingual Spanish speaker? Then we've got the job for you! Children's Bureau, a leading non-profit organization committed to providing vulnerable children — especially in the early years — the foundation necessary to become caring and productive adults, is looking to add to their Mental Health team in Lancaster, CA (1921 West Avenue J, Suite C, Lancaster CA). The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree and registration with the Board of Behavior Sciences, at least one year experience, and the desire to significantly change the lives of at-risk children by providing state-of-the-art child abuse treatment services. 

Position Description:

Provides comprehensive therapy with children and their families within the mental health division, Department of Mental Health paperwork, case management and other related support services to children and their families in the field or at the clinic. Responsible for meeting weekly productivity expectations and maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records of all services rendered in accordance with state and county regulations. Will be responsible for carrying an ongoing outpatient caseload.

Masters degree required in Clinical Psychology. Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Marriage Family Therapist OR license-eligible Associate Clinical Social Worker or Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, one year or more previous experience with children and families requiring diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning and crisis intervention, as well as providing the various modalities of therapy, strong communication skills including: Exceptionally strong writing skills are required. Must be able to document in a clear and concise manner and in accordance with Department of Mental Health and other program standards. Strong commitment to children and families, and a willingness to take the steps necessary to assure their well-being, knowledge of the L.A. County Department of Mental Health system is a huge plus, ability to work within administrative and process parameters as required, willingness to work in a multi-cultural environment, must be willing to work in homes, schools, and other non-traditional, community oriented environments. Bilingual English/Spanish required.
