Job Description
Supports account servicing for assigned constituents (producers, plan sponsors, customers), business or customer segment, products and services and geographies. Self-motivated and compassionate individual responsible for customer service, issue resolution, and employee education. Must be flexible and able to address plan sponsor questions and concerns in a timely manner. This is an on-site customer service position and employee will reside in the customer's office location in El Paso.

Fundamental Components
  • Assisting the account team with implementation, plan administration, wellness initiatives, open enrollment, benefit fairs and escalated issues
  • Researching and resolving member claim issues received via walk-in, telephone or email
  • Promoting and educating members on Aetna tools and wellness initiatives
  • Collaborating with other Aetna departments (Eligibility, Network Management, APM, Precertification, etc.) to ensure timely resolution of escalated issues
  • Assisting in new-hire orientation and education
  • Delivering on-site monthly reports as necessary

Background Experience
  • 2-5 years health benefits, ihealth insurance, and customer service experience REQUIRED
  • License for Health & Life (must have; or must obtain following hire) is REQUIRED
  • Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, & Webex
  • Bachelor's degree desired or equivalent work experience.

Additional Job Information
bi-lingual in English/Spanish is a huge plus!

Must have Group One/General Lines Life and Health License or obtain within 90 days
