Interim Human Resources Manager

This is a temporary task force team member position and will require a 1099 form. Performs a wide range of HR functions under the direction of the Human Resources Director. Responsible for assisting in recruitment , employee relations and diverse administrative services which may be complex and contain confidential information.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
-Generate and deliver Offer Letters with explanation of the Onboarding Process and instructions for Consumer Report/Background Check and Motor Vehicle Record submission.
-Update Employee Tracking Master Spreadsheet: Add New Hires and their Background Status
-Present Consumer report results to committee when notification of Pre-Adverse Action sent. Maintain communication with Hiring Manager and Candidate throughout the process and inform of committee's decision after the required number of days by law.
-Approving position postings, social media campaigns and applicant tracking systems used by Hotel Bennett.
-Attends hiring events, career fairs and other networking events as required.
-Plans and directs activities of staff in carrying out such functions as developing sources of qualified applicants, conducting screening interviews, conducting property tours, administering tests, conducting interview sessions, checking references and background, and evaluating applicant qualifications utilizing all available tools.
-Assists HR Director in resolutions of Service Professional issues, concerns and complaints.
-Provide Managers with coaching and counseling opportunities, "how to" and feedback.
-Attend Weekly Dept. meetings.
-Provides ADP (Recruiting, Performance Management) training to Managers/Service Professionals in Orientation and one-on-ones as needed.
-Review all Communication Forms, coaches Managers when necessary regarding administration of Communication Form, signs on behalf of HR
-Assign Managers access to Recruiting Requisitions and Applicants
-Bachelor's degree with two to four (2-4) years of experience in Human Resources preferred.
-Proven familiarity with aspects of human resource functions, federal and state laws, insurance plan administration, wage and hour laws and exposure to confidential information.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office, Publisher, Word, Excel, Outlook, ADP knowledge required.
-Bilingual a plus.
-SHRM certification preferred.
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, work with deadlines, multi-task and apply consistent attention to details.
-Ability to interact effectively, in a positive and helpful manner, with staff, coworkers, guests, customers, visitors and management.
-Ability to work with deadlines, multi-task, quick thinker, attention to details.
-Self-starter team player with dedication to follow-through and the ability to apply sound decision making and judgment skills in a fast-paced environment.
