The Health Center at 3500 is seeking a full time, board certified/board eligible internal medicine physician to join our team of providers. Located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, this center provides full spectrum family practice care to people who live and work in our community. This site is innovative, collaborative and cohesive. The position offers great quality of work/life balance with four 10-hour days, no in-patient duties and occasional telephone call backup to the after-hours triage service.
The role of the internal medicine physician on the team is to serve as Primary Care Physician for the most complex adult patients in the practice, as well as serve as a consultant for family medicine physicians and APPs.
Your new team will include 2 family medicine physicians, 4 advanced practice providers, 2 RN’s, and 2 Behavioral Health Providers. Together they provide a team-based approach to healthcare. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth, providing a wide variety of opportunities, including process and quality improvement, mentorship, teaching and participating in research.
Our ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in internal medicine practicing in an outpatient primary care setting; able to utilize a template based EMR (NextGen); has an unrestricted Colorado license, as well as an active DEA, is comfortable seeing adults of all ages, and averages 17 patients per day. Spanish speaking preferred. Must have a strong desire to make a difference in the community. Successful candidates embrace a team-oriented approach and are comfortable working with and overseeing Physician Assistants and providing collaboration with Nurse Practioners.

Federal and State funds are available for loan repayment for eligible candidates.
