UNM's Department of Pediatrics is committed to providing the children of New Mexico with comprehensive family-centered healthcare that is unequaled in the state and region. We are seeking a full-time or part-time Genetic Counselor for the Division of Genetics and Dysmorphology to work with the metabolic team in the care of patients with inborn errors of metabolism, abnormal newborn screens, general genetics and outreach clinics.
|Conditions of Employment|
Master's degree in Genetic Counseling or directly equivalent discipline; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.Certification/LicensureBoard eligible for certification as a Genetic Counselor.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
